and did you notice those beautiful blue eyes? this dog is a treasure. she takes the submissive stance, a great big plus, and she’ll probably do anything i want her to. i want her to be another emotional support dog for me. yes i am emotionally crippled enough to warrant two emotional support dogs.
i only had her all of two days when i found her limping around on three legs. i found a cactus spine stuck in her leg and pulled that out but she kept limping on three legs and it swelled up the next day. no improvement by monday so a trip to the vet and poor little banana (or banawner in brit) had broken her leg, both the radius and the ulna. i imagine in my financial state i ought to have put her down but those blue eyes and she goes so well with the furniture
so a friend sees my lost dog sign and she offers me her dog. this dog that is a black and white pitbull x labrador x who-knows-what. she came called nana which doesn’t really work for me so i’ve been thinking what really suits her with no luck so just started to call her banana temporarily
dogs and especially cats have a very high mortality rate in these parts
i hope she is okay and fine and loved by some new family
